Pregabalin
Pregabalin in Epilepsy. Epilepsy is a brain disorder that causes the person unjustifiable and repeatedly occurring seizures, the person is diagnosed to have epilepsy if he experienced two or more unexplained seizures, not explained by known medical conditions like alcohol withdrawal or hypoglycemia (low blood sugar).
What is Lyrica and what are its uses?
Lyrica is an anti-epileptic drug in the brain that causes seizures.

It is unfair to limit Pregabalin as an anti-epileptic drug only; it is also used to treat the pain resulting from fibromyalgia (a chronic disease that causes pain throughout your body).
It is also used to treat the nerve pain caused by diabetes, neuralgia (severe and sudden pain attacks) caused by Herpes zoster, or pain coming from an injury in the spinal cord.
Pregabalin is also used in treating focal onset seizures (seizures begin in one side of the brain) and they are the most common types of seizures in adults and children from 1 month old.
