  • Retinitis Pigmentosa (an eye problem)
  • severe vision loss like a condition called NAION (Non-arteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy)
  • bleeding problems
  • stomach ulcers
  • liver problems
  • kidney problems or having kidney dialysis

Also, tell your health care provider about other medical conditions you are suffering from.

  • HIV protease inhibitors drugs used for controlling HIV like ritonavir, indinavir sulfate, saquinavir, or atazanavir sulfate
  • Oral antifungal medicines like ketoconazole and itraconazole
  • Some antibiotics like clarithromycin, telithromycin, and erythromycin
  • Medicines for high blood pressure
  • other medicines for erectile dysfunction
  • Revatio another drug containing sildenafil and other PDE5 inhibitors the family of Viagra

Viagra doesn’t help you get protected against sexually transmitted diseases such as HIV.
